How do I get started with grazing on my property?▼
We'd love to help! You have two great options:
- Download our Grazing Contractor List to connect directly with local contractors in your area.
- Contact our team if you're interested in joining or starting a Community Grazing Cooperative.
I'd love to get animals to use for fuels reduction on my property, but I'm worried about the time commitment involved. What are my options?▼
A Community Grazing Cooperative is a wonderful way to share the responsibilities of animal care with your neighbors. If you're interested in starting one, contact our team.
Will having goats or sheep attract predators to my neighborhood?▼
Coyotes, foxes, and other predators are already moving through most neighborhoods — livestock don't bring them in. The good news is that with a few simple precautions, your animals can stay safe and secure. Sturdy fencing, a covered nighttime shelter, and/or a livestock guardian animal are all effective ways to protect your goats or sheep.
